Fluorescent fabric, popularly known as “lajkra”, is an invention of the 20th century. As it happens with inventions, it was first supposed to serve soldiers, and then it began to serve everyone. Today, it is a very important element of sportswear. Is it also suitable for work clothes? Of course it is!
Fluorescent fabric – what advantages does it have?
The biggest advantage of this fabric is its very high strength and versatility. Elastic, adheres perfectly to the body, absorbs sweat and fat. Looking at it from a working point of view – it is suitable for clothing wherever working conditions require constant movement. The first thought is uniformed formations. For example, such police officers patrolling the streets walk many kilometers a day. Of course, stressful working conditions combined with traffic make many officers sweat. However, when we look at the uniforms, they are certainly not from the “lajkra”. This one is especially suitable in winter in the form of trousers and a blouse, on which we put other clothes or uniforms. Then we can separate the clothes that will absorb sweat from the clothes that will stay clean for longer.
