Flame retardant segmented belts – for whom?
Flame retardant tapes are tailoring accessories. As you may have guessed, they are part of a larger outfit. As the name suggests, it would be difficult to burn them, so wherever we deal with fire and high temperatures, such tapes will pass the test. The first profession that comes to mind that needs such tapes is, of course, a firefighter. It should be remembered that his entire outfit can come into contact with fire, so it must be made of flame-retardant materials. That is, not only the material itself, but also threads or tailoring accessories. After all, the outfit must be complete after every rescue operation.
However, it is important to know that tapes are not only a distinguishing element of a firefighter. Their task is to reflect. Often a firefighter works at night on the road. Then, in order to avoid accidental hit-and-run, it should already be lit from a distance for every driver. In addition, much less light is needed to see such a tape, so in complete darkness – for example, a building – it will be easier to find your way around.
