Fabrics, workwear, spandex – what is it?
Spandex fabric is a synthetic invention from several decades ago. It is a material whose fibers are incredibly flexible and stretch well. If you watch sports competitions, you have seen such an outfit many times – on ski jumpers, gymnasts, dancers. Is there also spandex workwear? Well, there is. For example, someone who works as an instructor at a gym will need one. Such clothing can be part of another outfit. That is, where a given element is supposed to stretch more than the rest.
