Cotton-polyester fabrics are offered by the Polish Textile Group. There is no shortage of materials in our warehouses that can be used to create ordinary, workwear or specialist clothing. But let’s start by explaining some of the differences between the fabrics.
Cotton-polyester fabrics – what do we use them for?
The fabric, which is called cotton and polyester, means that the former is dominant, and the latter is just an accessory. Cotton is used for other types of clothing, while polyester is used for others. So why mix? We are in a hurry to answer. The use of one hundred percent polyester would make the garment extremely stiff and inflexible. On the other hand, one hundred percent cotton means great convenience and comfort, but it also has its drawbacks. The wear and tear of this natural material is much higher than that of polyester.
Therefore, if we walk around the house in cotton T-shirts, for example, we can consider that this is the most appropriate material. However, if we were to work all day in such clothes, then in the case of physical work, this type of T-shirt would resemble a cloth after a whole day. Each subsequent wash, which would be needed very often, would degrade the T-shirt even more.
To the reception and to the hotel
Therefore, it is safe to assume that clothes made of cotton polyester fabric are suitable for all light work – for example, where company clothing with a logo is needed. It can be, for example, an outfit for a receptionist or hotel service. These are typical professions in which we do not do physical work. We don’t carry anything heavy, we don’t stack goods. At most, we move on foot through a large facility.
